I have been progressing with the development of my website. I am using the software, Adobe Dreamweaver CS4. I downloaded a demo of it in order to use the software. I am obviously reluctant to pay the full price for the software.
I have been playing around with dreamweaver and gaining familiarity with it. I have had some minor difficulties in using it, as it is new to me. However I have been using the internet effectively to aid my learning of this new software (youtube tutorials etc.)
In the image above you can see a print screen of Dreamweaver. Along the top are all the individual webpages Im currently designing.

Really like the lyrics section, not many decent lyrics sites available so it’s good to see one in development. There’s a lot of interesting sections you could do with a Radiohead fansite what with all of Thom Yorke’s interests so I think if you just work on the consistency a bit it will be sometihng that Radiohead fans can enjoy. In terms of navigation/interface all it takes is just a bit of consistency and making sure it’s simple and not over complicated, for instance the links on the lyrics section work really well and stand out so maybe use that style throughout and you’ll be onto a winner!
Comment by Tom December 10, 2009 @ 1:36 pmYour site is a good fansite. I like the lyrics section and how the album artwork changes to whichever you click on. However when i clicked home i got stuck on the page with the ‘items’, but im sure thats just because its in working progress. The layout and design is good and very relevent to the site. The content is also good but not very versatile with what it offers. overall though good site.
